Res|ha|ping #hope
Discover #hope - an exceptional artistic blossom form inspired by the grace of cherry blossoms. This innovative art form combines themes of climate and environmental protection with critical reflections on our society and the appreciation of our environment and resources. Each handcrafted blossom on canvas presents an unchanging basic shape that continuously transforms through rotation. Through individual processing, sanding, and painting, each piece becomes a distinctive symbol connected to the theme of hope.
Andreas Saxton, born in 1964, is the creative mind and creator behind #hope – a German 'Ruhrpott native' with a heart and a strong stance. As an artist, he is a rebel with a passion for social criticism, environmental, nature, and animal protection issues, always ready to engage in challenging discussions on current events. His art is exceptional, committed, and precise in its message. Despite critically reflecting on a variety of themes, he always strives to ignite a spark of hope. His belief that many things will ultimately turn out well permeates his works.
