Diese Serie spiegelt aktuelle gesellschaftliche Themen wider. Die deutsche Sonderbriefmarke aus dem Jahr 1981 thematisierte den Zusammenhalt in der Entwicklungsarbeit. Im Motiv werden vier Hände unterschiedlicher Hautfarbe dargestellt, die sich gegenseitig halten. Diese Serie spiegelt aktuelle gesellschaftliche Themen wider. Die deutsche Sonderbriefmarke aus dem Jahr 2000 greift das Thema "Gewalt gegen Frauen" auf. Gewalt gegen Frauen ist ein beschämendes Problem, das tief in unserer Gesellschaft verwurzelt ist. Weltweit ist etwa jede dritte Frau im Laufe ihres Lebens von körperlicher oder sexueller Gewalt betroffen. Die Dunkelziffer ist dabei erschreckend hoch, da viele Fälle aus Scham oder Angst nicht gemeldet werden.

Das Herz ist als Mahnmal gesetzt, den Opfern zu gedenken und gleichzeitig die Hoffnung zu bewahren. Es ist ein Dank an all diejenigen, die sich unermüdlich für die Hilfe von Opfern einsetzen.

The actual number of cases is alarmingly high as many incidents go unreported due to shame or fear.

The heart serves as a memorial to remember the victims while maintaining hope. It is a tribute to all those tirelessly advocating for victim assistance.
